Week Eight: You Are An Overcomer #dearyousummerstudy2019

-Read Chapter Seven: You Are An Overcomer
-Look up the Scripture references
-Complete the questions at the end of the chapter

You can do this, friend— all of Heaven is cheering you on!

If you feel uncertainty about this journey, drown the doubt of disbelief into the sea knowing that the same power that raised Yeshua from the grave also lives in you. Yeshua has given you the keys to freedom, and it’s time to soar on wings like eagles with nothing holding your heart back.

If you’re feeling weighed down, ask yourself—what am I allowing myself to still be shackled to?

Shake off the shame, the guilt, and the fear. Walk in the light of life, knowing that the formula for overcoming is found in the blood of Yeshua and the power of our testimony. You are strengthened through hard times, not squashed. Press through failure, and don’t quit!

You have no fear in the fight, because you know Who you belong to. You belong to the King of Heaven, the One Who speaks life into every living thing…and as a person created in His image, you have the power to speak destiny and life over yourself, too.

Don’t tell yourself you can’t win. Know what areas of your life need extra special boundaries, and keep the ground in the battle for your heart with all diligence.

Your identity as a daughter of the King give the inheritance of victory.

Jump into the fight for your heart, and don’t give temptations time to grow. Jump into the battle for living the abundant life Yeshua has for you, going big and bold and not staying swaddled in the comfortable.

“Overcomer” is written in your name.

Week Seven: You Are Equipped #dearyousummerstudy2019

-Read Chapter Six: You Are Equipped
-Look up the Scripture references
-Complete the questions at the end of the chapter

You can have confidence for this journey, because you are fully equipped in Him.

Don’t let lies pass for emotions—intimidation, uncertainty, inadequacy. The only truth of these lies is that the enemy doesn’t want you to start the project you were born to finish.

What you have to offer, from your own unique perspective and experiences, is more than enough…and the world needs it.

You have influence, friend, in your own unique and brave way. Ask hard questions to find your destiny (“What does Adonai want me to do? How can I further His Kingdom right where I’m at?”), but give bold answers in return.

Pursue your passions for His glory.

What you do with your life should bring Yeshua into the room, showing the world what it means to embrace every moment you’ve been given. Dig deep to find the passions that penetrate all the layers of your soul—not just the top layer—and discover what you can do to invest in your talents.

Be patient with the process of discovery…and when you’re tempted to compare to others, remind yourself to stay in your lane.

Nothing is impossible when God is in it, and you are fully equipped and fully supplied. You have the strength to do hard things. You have peace to pursue your passions, with the direction of your dreams pointed heavenward.

March forward as an ambassador on a mission, coloring the world with God’s glory in a way that only you can, with the tools you’ve been given.

Week Six: You Are Gifted #dearyousummerstudy2019

-Read Chapter Five: You Are Gifted
-Look up the Scripture references
-Complete the questions at the end of the chapter

You have so much to offer, more than you think. Don’t let the shame steal the happiness and joy of pursuing your God-given talents, of doing the things that set your soul on fire. Don’t hide your light under a basket, because God asks you to partner with Him in telling the creative Love Story He has written for the world.

If you’re looking up for a standard, it should only be to seek God’s pleasure—not to measure yourself by someone else’s high bar of perceived perfection.

God created this world with colors and textures, with differences and beauty. He created the world unrivaled and without comparison—He spoke the universe into existence when it hadn’t been done before.

He wants you to create the same way. Unashamed and unafraid, letting the journey shape you to become more like Him.

Don’t fail in fear. There’s room on the platform of life for everyone, without strangling the life we were meant to create because someone else’s life looks better than ours. You have something to add to this story, in a way that only you can.

Your identity is Yeshua. Be faithful to show up. Be faithful to do it for Adonai’s glory. Fearlessly create to communicate the depths of your love to the Audience of One.

Let everything you create be an “I Love You” back to God’s heart.

Week Five: You Are Not Alone #dearyousummerstudy2019

-Read Chapter Four: You Are Not Alone
-Look up the Scripture references
-Complete the questions at the end of the chapter

In a world that is constantly connected through social media, it’s shocking how disconnected and alone it makes us feel. Our culture has shaped “friendship” to mean how many likes on Instagram or who is following you on Facebook.

If you stopped to think, how would you define a true friend?

What if you looked beyond social media and into your community? What if you looked beyond age or seasons or difference in order to see the souls around you? What if you pursued friendships from a place of knowing that you were needed, that you are a world changer, a community builder?

What if you looked beyond what others are doing through pixels of a photo, to see what their needs are?

Self-pity is self-demise, and the remedy to cure self-preservation is to GIVE. Give to others for the glory of God, reflecting His constant faithfulness to the world. Be the one to reach out, to schedule a coffee date, to send a text or that postcard. Be the one who invests in others, because God has invested in you.

Your fulfillment comes from only one place: God is the One Who fills your empty cup—not people or social media or hobbies.

Drink deeply of His love, friends. You have an anchor for your soul—Yeshua is there, and you are never alone.

-BONUS QUESTIONS (include in your caption, or comment below): How do you plan on cultivating community around you? In what ways/seasons has community been there in the past to support you?

Week Four: You Are Chosen #dearyousummerstudy2019

-Read Chapter Three: You Are Chosen
-Look up the Scripture references
-Complete the questions at the end of the chapter

It’s easy to feel left out and overlooked in our world today. It’s easy to feel subpar by the pressures of culture instead of feeling spectacular knowing that you were designed to be right here, right now, by the hand of God.

Your current situation may feel less-than-ideal and terribly unexciting, but what if you saw the GOOD of God’s heart in it?

What if you truly believed you were HERE for a reason? What if you stopped the rat race of rushing to DO the next thing, rushing to get to the next season, and instead rested in who you are becoming through this?

Be a woman who is faithful to stay and faithful to go, who owns the life she’s been given and works on changing herself through her circumstances…instead of losing herself in trying to change what goes on around her.

You’re here for a reason, friend. You have an irreplaceable part in the play, with skills and words of destiny that only you can bring to the table.

You’re chosen for greatness.
